The month of December 2021 witnessed the unveiling of a second series for the Irregular in Magic High School anime, that’s scheduled to debut in 2024. Further details were revealed in a YouTube video by Aniplex and confirmed that LiSA will be performing the theme song for the sequel’s first episode.
LiSA has previously performed previously the “Rising Hope” opening theme tune for the very first “The Irregular” at Magic High Schoolanime in 2014. The first announcement was made on the 3rd of January in 2014, which is why it’s only natural that LiSA’s announcement of its new theme would come exactly 10 years later. As reported previously the Director of animation Jimmy Stone, who previous worked on the show in various roles, including an episode director mechanic designer, chief animator, and more, will take over the reins as series director. Taku Iwasaki has been confirmed to be composing the music in the same way as the previous team. The animation will be produced in 8 bits.
