Based on light novels by Miya Kinojo and Katagiri, “Chillin’ in Other World” is directed by Yoshiki Iwasaki (Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?) at studio J.C.STAFF. The series is created by Megumi Shimizu (exiled from the hero’s party, I decided to live a quiet life in the countryside), character design by Takahiro Sowa (sending boys off to fight!), and music by Kujiura Yumemi (in the lead role).

Flio leads a mundane life as a merchant until he’s suddenly transported to an alternate world, brought to Clerode as its potential hero. Stranded at Level One and lacking abilities, he’s sent into a forest where he’s attacked by slimes. Overcoming the slimes, he reaches Level Two and gains unlimited power.
