Oshi no Ko Season 2 Anime Gets Early Episode 1 Screenings in Japan

When Oshi no Ko first debuted as an anime, an extended screening of its premiere episode, “Mother and Child,” commenced in Japan. These screenings began nationwide on March 17, 2023, and now they are making a comeback with separate premieres for the first episodes of Season 2 and more.

The revival screening of “Mother and Child” will take place first, returning to cinemas across Japan on June 7, 2024, for a limited two-week run. Then, on June 30, there will be a special advance screening of Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 1 with the presence of the cast. This event will be broadcasted directly to cinemas nationwide.

The broadcast of Oshi no Ko Season 2 will start in July 2024.

The first season of the Oshi no Ko TV anime is currently streaming on HIDIVE. Written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish), the manga was serialized in Weekly Young Jump in Japan, while the official English version of the manga is published digitally by Manga Plus. Yen Press releases the physical editions of the English manga.
