Ahead of the upcoming season finale of The Apothecary Diaries TV anime, TOHO Animation has released another character trailer, this time focusing on the poignant narrative of palace tactician Lakan and his significance in the series thus far. Viewers are advised that the video contains major spoilers for the series, so it’s recommended to be up to date with the episodes.
Directed by Norihiko Naganuma (known for The Ancient Magus’ Bride), the anime adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries is helmed by Naganuma, who also serves as the series composer. Akinori Fudesaka (from Tsuredure Children) takes on the role of assistant director at TOHO Animation STUDIO and OLM. The original story is penned by Natsu Hyuga, with illustrations by Touko Shino.
