The hit the horror comic Chainsaw Man is set to receive an adaptation in anime of its Reze the arc!
The film is titled Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc The film will be an expansion of The TV anime. The film will focus on Reze an innocent girl who falls in love with Denji. ( Read Also: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime to Return in Spring 2024! )
The release date and casting are still to be announced.
The original concept was created in the early 1990s by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Chainsaw Man is a story about a boy named Denji who turns into a hunter of devils in order to pay off his deceased dad’s debts due to the Yakuza. After falling prey to an attack by the yakuza He joins with his dog demon Pochita and becomes Chainsaw Man.
The manga first appeared in serial form from 2018 until 2020 in which Part 2 also debuting in July 2022. Fujimoto’s other projects include one-shot manga titles Look Back, Goodbye, Eri and Futsu ni Kiitekure.
Produced by MAPPA The highly anticipated adaptation of the anime ran from October through December 2022.
