The TV anime adaptation of Katsuhisa Minami’s manga “The Fable,” featuring the skilled assassin Akira, is set to premiere worldwide on Disney+ in April. Over the weekend, two new trailers were released, giving fans a sneak peek into what to expect.
The first trailer, focusing on Akira, unveils the opening theme song titled “Professionalism feat. Hannya” by ALI.
The second trailer showcases the various characters of the series, set to the ending theme song “Odd Numbers” by UmedaCypher.

Directed by veteran anime director Ryosuke Takahashi at Tezuka Productions, “The Fable” is slated to begin airing on April 6th.
According to Kodansha USA, publisher of the manga’s English edition, the first volume sets the stage for the story: “When you’re the infamous ‘genius killer’ hitman The Fable, many things come easy. In fact, being told that he can’t kill anyone for a while may just be the hardest job he’s ever taken…”
