Flio is the main protagonist of the series. Before being summoned to Klyrode, he worked as a merchant. In his previous world, Demons and Demi-Humans were often mistreated, but Flio always strived to treat them with equality and respect. After being expelled by the King, he chose to live a peaceful and comfortable life in this new world. His immense powers attract all sorts of people to him every day.
Background
Banaza was a merchant in his previous world. Despite Demons being regarded as slaves, he treated them equally and even insisted on trading with them to ensure fair dealings. One day, while talking to Quinn, he was summoned to the magical kingdom of Klyrode as a Hero candidate. However, due to his abilities being those of an ordinary citizen, he was deemed a failure. The magicians’ attempt to send him back failed due to a mistake, leaving Banaza unable to return to his original world. Consequently, he had no choice but to live in Klyrode.
Personality
Flio is predominantly kind and generous, with exceptional social skills from his background as a merchant. He can be naive about others’ intentions, but when a loved one is threatened or harmed, he unleashes his formidable powers to protect them. Though he initially agreed to marry Risu to prevent her suicide, he genuinely fell in love with her and became incredibly loyal and loving. After saving her from dying, they consummated their marriage, with Risu desiring to have children.
Appearance
Flio is of average height, with brown hair and a decent build. His attire consists of leather-like clothing in blue and brown hues, complemented by a green cape.
Plot
Volume 1
Banaza was summoned from the Kingdom of Paluma to the magical kingdom of Klyrode as a Hero candidate. Insisting he was just a merchant, his stats reflected those of a normal citizen. Shocked by his failure, the magicians attempted to return him to his world but were interrupted by the summoning of a true Hero candidate. After a banquet in honor of the new Hero, Banaza missed the chance to be sent back as the Gate closed.
The King apologized for the mistake and allowed Banaza to live in Klyrode, sending him to the Delaveza Forest. On his way, Banaza discovered that in Klyrode, humans and demi-humans coexist without slavery. Upon arrival, he checked his magic bag, discovering hidden spells meant to lure monsters. Using his newfound powers, he removed these curses.
As he explored the forest, he purified it of harmful magic, inadvertently killing many demons and leveling up to 367. Mistaking his infinite stats for a glitch, he shapeshifted to avoid recognition and registered as an adventurer named Flio. He accepted a quest from a demi-human girl named Fenrys, who later revealed her true form as a Lupine Demon. After a battle, Flio offered her the choice to refrain from attacking humans and stay with him, to which she agreed, becoming his companion and wife in name.
In Klyrode, they registered Fenrys as Rys in the Adventurers Guild and accepted a quest to subjugate Psychobears. Flio’s immense power and kindness won the trust of four female knights, whom he later trained.
Volume 2
Flio continued to train the knights and enhance their skills. Despite their initial failure against a Psychobear, they showed gradual improvement. Flio crafted magical accessories to aid them and was impressed by Rys’s progress in cooking.
One day, Uliminas, a powerful warrior, visited and revealed that Flio’s purification had killed Rys’s brother. Although guilt-stricken, Flio accepted a spar with Uliminas, swiftly defeating her with his magic.
Later, Ghozal, leader of the Dark Army, offered Flio a place in his ranks, but Flio declined, wishing to remain neutral. Eventually, the Blonde Hero and his army confronted Flio, who chose to leave with his companions. Using his magic, he teleported everyone, including their house, to a new location.
