SPY Family Code: White, the debut feature film of the SPY family anime series that debuted at 433 theatres (including fifty IMAX cinemas) all over Japan on the 22nd of December 2023. The film’s 110-minute run time earned 1,224,208,280 dollars (8.6 million dollars) with 866,436 tickets in its initial three-day run and was the top debut at the box office on weekends, according to Kyodo Tsushinsha.

The SPY Family Code White’s opening-day box office haul in the amount of 1.224 billion yen came in third highest of Japanese anime films that were released in 2023. It was followed by Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine (3.146 billion yen) and The Boy and the Heron (1.626 billion yen).

However, SPY x FAMILY CODE:White was ranked fifth on Filmarks’ first-day satisfaction rating with a low average score of 3.83/5.0 from 1,420 reviews.In the sixth weekend of its run, Kitaro Tanjou – GeGeGe no Nazo has moved up one place from the previous weekend to fifth position. The total gross of the film has been 1.6 billion yen (11.25 million USD) with 1.14 million tickets.
Godzilla Minus One fell three places to eighth during the eighth week of its run, bringing the amount at 4.6 billion yen (32.33 million USD) on 3 million admissions. Go Fly Me to Saitama From Lake Biwa with Love~ HTML2( Tonde Saitama Biwako yori ai wo Kometein Japan) from Japan) dropped to tenth place in the fifth weekend.
After securing second place in its debut this past weekend Studio Ponoc’s The Imaginary (known as Yaneura no Rudger (or Rudger at The Attic on the Japanese market in Japan) animation feature film was quickly removed from the top 10 list in it’s second day.
