Background:

Shara’s past is marked by being orphaned and abandoned by her family. She was initially kidnapped by Kasim under Hado’s orders, but Fate intervened, saving her and eliminating Kasim. When Fate was overseeing the departure of the first caravans bound for the Barbatos estate, he encountered Shara. As one of the forsaken, she was eligible to join the journey and did so on one of the initial caravans.

When she saw Fate, she expressed her gratitude for saving her, expressing her willingness to help him in any way. Fate found it difficult to respond, but Aaron, who happened to be listening, proposed that Shara become a maid of the Barbatos Manor, as the estate required more servants. She enthusiastically agreed, thus becoming a member of the Barbatos Manor staff.

Even after assuming her role as a maid in the Barbatos family, Shara continued to visit the orphanage where she grew up, caring for the other orphans as if they were her own siblings.

Fate Barbatos:

Fate first crossed paths with Sahara when he started serving at Roxy’s residence. Fate had just awakened to the Gluttony skill when he coincidentally witnessed Sahara being abducted by Kasim. Fortunately, Fate intervened and rescued her. Sahara, like Fate, lacked a specific skill and was among those relocating from the capital to the Barbatos territory.

It was during this transition that she spotted Fate and, driven by a sense of gratitude for her previous rescue, eagerly approached him. She felt troubled by her inability to express her thanks at that time and expressed her eagerness to be of assistance to Fate in any way possible. This led her to join the ranks of the Barbatos Family as a maid, and she took on the daily responsibility of waking Fate from his slumber.

Aaron Barbatos:

Aaron serves as Sahara’s employer and master. He extended the invitation for her to work as a maid while she was in conversation with Fate. This offer came about because the Barbatos family was experiencing a shortage of servants. Shara agreed to become a maid under two specific conditions.
