The official YouTube channel of Thai-born anisong singer MindaRyn has recently premiered an anime-style music video for her eighth CD single, “Shiny Girl.”
MindaRyn made her debut with Lantis in November 2020. “Shiny Girl” was launched in Japan on November 22, 2023, and served as the opening theme for the inaugural season of the TV anime SHY. The special video features a montage of key moments from the first season, skillfully intertwined with the song’s lyrics.

The first season of the SHY TV anime, based on Bukimi Miki’s action manga series, aired 12 episodes from October to December 2023. Its second season is already in production and is scheduled for release in July 2024.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season and provides the following description of the series:
